Financial Aid Application Support for Presenters
BRAZOPT 2026 Organizing Committee is dedicated to fostering an inclusive scientific environment. We are committed to promoting gender balance, geographic diversity, and supporting the next generation of researchers.
To achieve this, we have allocated a limited budget to provide partial financial aid to participants who would otherwise be unable to attend.
Eligibility
To be considered for financial aid, you must meet the following criteria:

You must have an accepted abstract for an oral or poster presentation.

You must not have full funding from another source (e.g., full institutional grant).

Priority Groups: PhD students, early-career researchers (postdocs), participants from developing regions, and underrepresented groups in the optimization community.
Types of Support Available
Selected candidates may receive one or both of the following:

Registration Fee Waiver: Full or partial exemption from the conference registration fees.

Per Diems (Daily Allowance): A fixed financial contribution to assist with accommodation and meals during your stay in Blumenau.
Important Note: We do not provide funding for airfare or travel tickets. Participants are responsible for arranging their own travel to Blumenau.
Selection Criteria
The selection process is competitive. Applications will be prioritized based on:

Financial Need: As described in the justification provided in your application.

Diversity: We aim to ensure gender balance and representation from various geographic regions.

Career Stage: Priority is given to students and early-career researchers.
