Social and Scientific Exchange
As part of the Social and Scientific Exchange program of BRAZOPT 2026, we are organizing additional cultural and social activities outside the regular scientific program. These activities are optional and aim to promote informal interaction and networking among participants.
Cultural Visit to Pomerode/SC
Date: Wednesday, February 25, 2026
This cultural visit will take place after the end of the second plenary session and includes local gastronomy, cultural attractions, and leisure time in Pomerode.
- Departure: from UFSC/Blumenau after the second plenary session (around 11:30 am)
- Lunch: Restaurante Rancho Lemke (self-pay – R$ 80, approximately USD 15)
- Optional visit: Nugali Chocolate Factory (self-pay – R$ 50, approximately USD 10)
Located across the street from Rancho Lemke
- Walking tour through the city center, including Passeio Pomerano, local shops, and other points of interest
- Return: to UFSC/Blumenau in the late afternoon / early evening (around 7 pm)
